ABOUT US
Tones of Africa was first created in 2017 in Harare, Zimbabwe. It is a souvenir range that was inspired by the beautiful African wildlife. Over the years we have perfected our hand dyeing and screen printing to create such breathtaking t-shirts. Our t-shirts are soft to the touch and are the perfect gift and souvenir to take home with you.

We only hope that when you open your closet and look at your tones of Africa t-shirt that you will be reminded of the life changing trip to took to our incredible sunny Africa or perhaps a lovely gift you received from a loved one.

More about us and the Elephant Fund
After spending our lives in Africa, we were inspired by the beautiful animals living in Southern Africa. We have spent so much time traveling through our stunning African terrain and so we were inspired by the wildlife.By animals such as the lions, elephants, cheetahs , zebras and all the big 5 . So we decided to create a range of t-shirts that have realistic animal faces on t-shirts to remind us of the nature we have experienced. After much trial and experimentation we have been able to produce our hand dyed and screen printed garments as you see them today . Making these t-shirts has become an art form. The designs require skilled dyers, screen printers and graphic designers. We are always working on new pieces and expanding our range so stayed tuned !

In addition we are passionate about conserving the environment and giving back wherever we can. In terms of dyeing our products we have calculated the exact amount of dye necessary to dye our garments , so we have no waste from our dyeing process. We also make use of all paint from the screen printing process . We have free water fill stations in our factory to encourage use of reusable water and also to help make sure that our workers are getting clean water to drink.

We are a family and friend run business that believes in being ethical and morally conscious. In a world full of cooperates we are solely focused on being personable and sensitive to the needs of our customers.

We are also involved in helping the Elephant Fund. For every elephant t-shirt that we sell we donate a percentage of profits to the Elephant fund.
